'Bavarian House, Odessa' was founded in 1993 as a German cultural and meeting centre by the Bavarian State Ministry of Labour, Social, Family and Women Affairs. Our benefactor today is a civil and social promotion society „Förderkreis Bayerisches Haus Odessa e.V." in Munich.

We are the main partner of the Goethe Institute in Ukraine. The teaching standards recommended and required by the Goethe Institute for the German language are successfully applied in all of our language courses.
We have already trained 32 diplomats (3 ambassadors) from European countries for their work in the Russian-speaking area. Managers, students, travellers, professionals, young and old learn Russian or Ukrainian individually or in groups. Our main principle is: you determine what you need!

- QualityOur teachers are professionals who can competently respond to your language needs. They are methodically and didactically well trained and constantly upgrade their qualification. Besides Russian and Ukrainian all our teachers also speak German or English. During 10 years we collaborate closely with the Bochum Regional Language Institute. In addition, our 12 classrooms are technically well-equipped and air-conditioned.
- We are a German centre registered in Ukraine with a benefactor registered in Munich: 'Förderverein Freundeskreis Bayerisches Haus, Odessa e.V.' ('Supporting Fund Friends of Bavarian House Odessa'). Due to our transparency and successful activity during 25 years diplomats and top managers of international companies, students and schoolchildren trust us. Our cooperation partner in Germany is State Language Institute/Ruhr University Bochum.
- Individual SupportThe head of our Russian language school, Larissa Sychuk, will be happy to take care of your accommodation and the accompanying programme, meeting at the airport and planning an excursion and cultural programme. After the initial interview Larissa Sychuk will adjust your curriculum to your needs and will be your contact person during your stay.
- Our language course prices are calculated fairly and guarantee the best price/quality ratio. We do not require prepayment of the entire course price: payment is made in 2 installments - at the end of the first day of the course and in the middle of the course.
